       Hazardous Areas – Constructed Wetlands

Another new area the new standard addresses is constructed wetlands. These are wetland areas or reed beds
that hold and break down fuel. Because the area could contain significant levels of flammable levels, the area
within 4m of the reed bed up to a height of 1m is classified as Zone 2, and the area of the reed bed that is below
ground level is classified as Zone 1 together with any chambers.
