ExxonMobil Safety Message
As part of our continued effort to raise safety awareness with our employees and sub
contractors and give traceability for our DNV and customer safety audits, we now plan to
formally incorporate customer messages into our Safety Bulletin strategy.
We are very fortunate in that ABB, BP, Coteba, Esso (ExxonMobil) and The Global Alliance
all encourage safe behavioural practice, will support us 100% if we make a H&S related
decision on site and have been instrumental in recognising the excellent work done by our
teams on site by way of safety or behavioural practice awards.
My objective is to achieve a true Incident and Injury Free environment on all sites on which we
work and to recognise those employees and subcontractors who address unsafe practice at
source to avoid injury or damage and make people think about how they can work safer.
It is common practice now for customers to recognise both good and bad practice in their
bulletins; something which I support fully.
Please make sure that we continue to be the industry benchmark for good practice and make
sure that any publicity we receive is about what we did well, rather that the sort of incident
referred to in the ExxonMobil safety message attached.

our customers and even our competitors by improving training, helping where necessary and
addressing any issues of concern there and then”
