            Premises Registration – Mobile Service

The Marden Office has been registered as a “Mobile Service Operator”. This means that we produce
hazardous waste at other premises as part of our works.

The registration number is NHH952. You will require this number when completing consignment
            notes.

            Waste Carrier Registration

Xmo Strata Ltd is a registered waste carrier, number KEN/472805.
Xmo Veritas Ltd is a registered waste carrier, number BUS/723990.

            Waste Disposal

All lamps must be taken to and disposed of by CEF. CEF operate a service whereby all lamps can be
returned to any branch and they will dispose of them appropriately.

A disposal method for other types of waste, i.e. neon tubes and paint is being investigated and you will
be notified when this has been completed. The lamp disposal box at Telford stores will then be
removed, and lamps must no longer be returned to Telford.

            Consignment Notes

The regulations detail two types of consignment notes, single collection notes and multiple collection
notes. The notes we have developed are based on the single collection note.

              Single Collection Notes

These are for use when transporting a single consignment of waste from the site where it was
produced to the disposal location or transfer station. There are additional forms for use when more
than one carrier is used in this transfer operation.

              Multiple Collection Notes

These are for use when collecting waste from several sites and transporting it to the disposal
location / transfer station. Only one transport carrier is allowed in this transfer operation.

         Completing Consignment Notes

An example of a completed consignment note is attached. The consignment note must be completed
            before transporting the waste.

            Part A – Notification details

            1. Consignment note code, this is the unique number for the consignment. It is important that this
number is unique – it must not be used by us or any other company or contractor in the country.

The first section of the code is the Mobile Service registration number, i.e. NHH952, the second
part is a unique number that will be issued from the office upon request. Before transporting any
hazardous waste you must contact Sarah at the office for this number.
