Boom Lift Movement

Please see enclosed bulletin regarding boom lifts that was shared with us by Quant Service.

We have documented procedures, including JSAs for use of MEWPs, including booms, that detail the
rules to follow when using any MEWP.

All operators are trained in the appropriate module of IPAF in order to ensure competence.

Our procedures include the use of pre-use MEWP checklists in order to ensure the MEWP is in good
condition and a documented harness policy to make it clear when and why harnesses are required. This
all forms part of our safe system of work, and if followed ensures that all work from a MEWP is safe.

If you are not familiar with any of the above documentation, or have any concerns or suggestions,
please contact your line manager.

been learned throughout the course of our lives. Some of us learn best by studying graphs and charts, some through visual
presentations, and some by reading detailed text books. It is important that we receive information in a format that works for

videos etc. However, if you feel there is a better way for us to share health and safety information, please let us know.
