Health, Safety & Environmental Bulletin No 450

Waste Recycling
During 2012 we initiated a traceable waste recycling system to track and record the waste removed
from sites.
Full details of the waste carriers, destination, license numbers, and recycling quantities are logged into
our Xmoman management system.
We recently passed the milestone of 1000 tonnes of waste logged. We now have 1025 tonnes of waste
recorded, with an average of 94% recycled, this amounts to 968 tonnes of recycled waste, and 57 tonnes
of non-recyclable waste going to landfill.
We would like to thank all site operatives for supporting this initiative and making it successful so that
we can share full traceability with our clients and meet our obligations as per our ISO 14001
environmental accreditation.
We are all a product of learning. Every skill we have; everything we know; everything we believe and everything we do has
been learned throughout the course of our lives. Some of us learn best by studying graphs and charts, some through visual
presentations, and some by reading detailed text books. It is important that we receive information in a format that works for
us as individuals! That’s why at Xmo Strata we use a variety of communication platforms such as bulletins, newsletters,
videos etc. However, if you feel there is a better way for us to share health and safety information, please let us know.
Ultimately, your safety is in your hands – but we will do all we can to keep you well informed!
