Safety Signs – Visual Standards and Positioning

Whilst we were re-branding a BP Dealer site, one of our electrical engineers (Steve
Knights) spotted a young lady using her mobile phone on the forecourt. He approached
her and requested that she end the call, which she did without hesitation. She then went
into the shop to pay for her fuel and as she came out, having thought about it, she asked
Steve if there should be signs up saying that this practice was dangerous.

This caused him to double-take on the positioning and visibility of the signs that we had
installed. Upon reflection it is likely that they could be missed. Please see photos
