Health, Safety & Environmental Bulletin No 331

                                                22 November 2012

                                               Traffic on Forecourt

Please see enclosed two self-explanatory bulletins that was shared with us by JCI.

It is our policy to always use defensive parking whenever possible in order to provide a barrier to
oncoming traffic. The Xmo branded vehicles have been especially designed to be visible in all weather
conditions, with reflective markings along the sides and back in order to ensure the vehicle is visible.

In February 2009 the use of the van as a barrier prevented a serious incident when an approaching
vehicle lost control in a sudden snowstorm and collided with the van, which was defensively parked in
front of a mobile tower the crew were working from. The incident was described in detail in our
           Forecourt Safety video, see http://www.xmostrata.com/videos/training_video_series1.php

When walking across forecourt, always ensure to walk around the site, in order to stay out of the traffic
lanes and out of the line of fire. Always keep an eye out for vehicles entering the site, or manoeuvring
           on the forecourt.

We are all a product of learning. Every skill we have; everything we know; everything we believe and everything
we do has been learned throughout the course of our lives. Some of us learn best by studying graphs and
charts, some through visual presentations, and some by reading detailed text books. It is important that we
receive information in a format that works for us as individuals! That’s why at Xmo Strata we use a variety of
communication platforms such as bulletins, newsletters, videos etc. However, if you feel there is a better way for
us to share health and safety information, please let us know. Ultimately, your safety is in your hands – but we
will do all we can to keep you well informed!
