MEWP Safety Ramping

Please see enclosed self-explanatory bulletin from AFI-Uplift Limited.

This bulletin explains a safety feature built into MEWPs that prevents the MEWP from suddenly
stopping when the operator lets go of the controller.

When manoeuvring a MEWP, particularly if you are close to other vehicles or obstacles, you should
always take into account that the MEWP may not immediately stop - slow down before manoeuvring
around any obstacles or attempting to manoeuvre close to a sign or work area.
