When removing sheeting, it is important to stay out of the line of fire in case anything is loose in the
canopy, or dust settled on the sheet is disturbed. Remember that the area around the MEWP must be
barriered to prevent people entering the safety buffer zone around the MEWP. This barriered buffer
zone is still needed even on a closed site – you need to ensure other contractors keep out of the line of
           fire should something fall.

Never leave any waste or materials inside the canopy (or on canopy roof). If you find waste on site,
remove it if it is safe and simple to do so. Waste inside canopies (where it is often not a simple job to
remove) should be reported as a PI so the client can be notified.

We are all a product of learning. Every skill we have; everything we know; everything we believe and everything we do has
been learned throughout the course of our lives. Some of us learn best by studying graphs and charts, some through visual
presentations, and some by reading detailed text books. It is important that we receive information in a format that works for
us as individuals! That’s why at Xmo Strata we use a variety of communication platforms such as bulletins, newsletters,
videos etc. However, if you feel there is a better way for us to share health and safety information, please let us know.
Ultimately, your safety is in your hands – but we will do all we can to keep you well informed!
