The photographs in the second example also show where a fixing has been left protruding and has
scratched the protective coating on some panels, thankfully the screw had not scratched through the
coating and onto the panel and no-one had injured themselves on the fixing left sticking out of the crate.

When packaging materials please consider the 6 hazard categories as you would when working on site.
These exposed fixings cause not only a HSSE risk but also a quality and property damage issue.
Protruding fixings should be removed or made level with the surface.

If our engineers experience issues such as those shown above on site, we ask that they report them to us
so that we can input measures to prevent recurrence. These two issues were reported within a couple of
weeks of each other and as a direct action, we are sharing them with you all via this bulletin.

We are all a product of learning. Every skill we have; everything we know; everything we believe and everything we do has
been learned throughout the course of our lives. Some of us learn best by studying graphs and charts, some through visual
presentations, and some by reading detailed text books. It is important that we receive information in a format that works for
us as individuals! That’s why at Xmo Strata we use a variety of communication platforms such as bulletins, newsletters,
videos etc. However, if you feel there is a better way for us to share health and safety information, please let us know.
Ultimately, your safety is in your hands – but we will do all we can to keep you well informed!
