Packaging for Onward Transport of Goods
We have recently had three reports of issues with the packing of goods for onward transport when upon
receipt, some items have had damage identified which could have been prevented with better
packaging.
Example 1:
The photographs above show where a spreader was packed on top of another crate of spreaders and the
heads of the fixings on the lid of the crate were protruding slightly, in transit, these pushed their way
through the spreader packaging, scratching the surface – we were able to repair the spreader on site by
sanding down and painting and replacing the vinyl, at our cost.
