Health, Safety & Environmental Bulletin No 245

                                             M Mott – 12 May 2011

                                     Incidents Reported From Germany

Please see enclosed self explanatory safety alerts received from ABB.

These highlight the need to always read and follow the JSA / method statement. Any
changes required for the specific site should be considered as part of the LMRA and
           documented (with appropriate control measures).

If you find the documented method in the JSA / method statement is unworkable or has
steps missing, tell your Supervisor and send a note detailing the problem to the office.

Risk management is a big step towards accident prevention; however, it is dependent on the risk firstly
being identified, then controlled. We need safety awareness to be instinctive and form an integral part
of both our working and home lives; it is this, in turn, that may save the lives of others. Remember: if
shared, risks can be mitigated before they pose a threat.

If you have any queries regarding the Safety Bulletin content or require further information please
contact any staff member of Xmo Strata Ltd.
