Head Injury
Please find attached a self explanatory Esso bulletin that demonstrates what can happen
if safety procedures are not suitable for the task or are not followed.
We believe that our procedures are robust.
Please ensure you read what is being asked of you, always carry out a last minute risk
assessment and advise us of any improvements that you feel can be made to our

About Risk
Risk management is a big step towards accident prevention; however, it is dependent on the risk firstly
being identified, then controlled. We need safety awareness to be instinctive and form an integral part
of both our working and home lives; it is this, in turn, that may save the lives of others. Remember: if
shared, risks can be mitigated before they pose a threat.
