Shackles

Please see below safety alert received today relating to counterfeit shackles that are being
supplied..

Ensure that you always inspect any lifting equipment before use and beware of counterfeits.

Do not use, or allow to be used any equipment which you think may not be genuine. If in
doubt, contact your Supervisor immediately.

Martin Rackley, UK HSSE Manager of Global Alliance has stated that ” Counterfeit / faulty
lifting gear can and does KILL”.
