World Mental Health Day
Following on from our Bulletin 639 about Mental Health we have made the decision to bring our
Bulletin issue forward a day this week in support of World Mental Health Day. Below are some basic
facts about Mental Health in the UK:
- Common mental disorders (CMDs) have risen by around one-fifth in both men and women since
1993.
- Within the UK suicide is the single biggest killer of men aged under 45.
