Anti Lock Brake System

Please see enclosed safety alert regarding ABS systems shared with us by Artelia.

ABS is fitted on all vehicles sold in the EU since 2004, and was common on vehicles prior to that, so
most vehicles you are likely to drive will be fitted with this system.

During the 2015 Health & Safety Awareness Week, our employees attended a ‘vehicle skid and
emergency braking’ course, which gave practical guidance on controlling the vehicle during an
emergency, including advice on using ABS systems.

Remember to always follow the highway code, and report any incidents, accidents or vehicle faults.
If a vehicle has a dangerous fault, do not drive it - contact your line manager.

We are all a product of learning. Every skill we have; everything we know; everything we believe and everything we do has
been learned throughout the course of our lives. Some of us learn best by studying graphs and charts, some through visual
presentations, and some by reading detailed text books. It is important that we receive information in a format that works for
