MEWP Inspections

Please see enclosed a self-explanatory bulletin that was shared with us by AFI Uplift.

We have dedicated MEWP safety check forms that must be completed before using any MEWP. These
are used as a reminder of the more important items that need checking on the equipment, but every
crew is trained in the appropriate IPAF modules so they can identify issues even if they are not
specifically stated on the checklist.

The pre-use checklists also allow us to monitor and prove our systems are working. The results of the
checklists are analyzed, looking for trends that we can address to eliminate future problems.

The results of our MEWP checklist analysis is distributed in our monthly steering meeting minutes.

We are all a product of learning. Every skill we have; everything we know; everything we believe and everything we do has
been learned throughout the course of our lives. Some of us learn best by studying graphs and charts, some through visual
presentations, and some by reading detailed text books. It is important that we receive information in a format that works
for us as individuals! That’s why at Xmo Strata we use a variety of communication platforms such as bulletins, newsletters,
videos etc. However, if you feel there is a better way for us to share health and safety information, please let us know.
