Tank Replacement Alert
Please see enclosed self explanatory safety alert received from Artelia.
Although we usually do not get involved with any excavation work, the general lessons
learnt in this bulletin are relevant. All safety rules must be complied with at all times,
there are no exceptions, no matter what the task.
If you have any problems, or disagree with any safety procedure / rule, contact your
supervisor - we want to know, we may be able to alter the procedures to be safer and
more practical.
Risk management is a big step towards accident prevention; however, it is dependent on the risk firstly
being identified, then controlled. We need safety awareness to be instinctive and form an integral part
of both our working and home lives; it is this, in turn, that may save the lives of others. Remember: if
shared, risks can be mitigated before they pose a threat.
