Below is a breakdown of how we managed to deal with the 67 hazard spot/potential incidents:-


           Residual Risk Analysis

           34no  Risk was mitigated at the time of discovery.
           12no  Risk was controlled and reduced at the time of discovery, but further action is needed.
           8no    Risk was brought to the attention of the person responsible at the time of discovery.
           3no    Risk is being brought  to the attention of the person responsible.
           3no    No immediate action was necessary, long term action is needed.
           2no    No action has been taken to control risk.
           7no    Not applicable.

           Please continue the excellent work throughout the rest of the year and continue to make our sites safe
           places  for  our  customers,  their  patrons  and  other  contractors,  even  if  the  hazard  you  identify  isn’t
           anything to do with us. Each hazard that you address at source saves our  customer the cost of calling
           another contractor out, so adds genuine value to them and their business.

           Risk management is a big step towards accident prevention; however, it is dependent on the risk firstly
           being identified, then controlled. We need safety awareness to be instinctive and form an integral part
           of both our working and home lives; it is this, in turn, that may save the lives of others. Remember: if
