Site Robbery

A robbery took place
on one of our
construction sites last
week. Two men in a
white transit van
tricked the site
security guard into
letting them on site at
20:00 hrs.
While one acted as
look out, the other
removed equipment
including drills and
compactor machine
from the storage cabin
into their van. They
then rammed the site
gates several times
before making their escape. The police investigation is still ongoing at this time.
Lessons Learnt:
• The thieves parked in front of the site gates and produced fake ID cards with the
Principal Contractor logo and their photos. They requested access to the site and
explained they needed to do urgent work on the pipe work.
