You Only Have One Pair Of Hands

Please see below three new site posters that highlight the need to protect your hands and will be used
on BP/Bovis Global Alliance sites in the near future

In 2009, all our JSA's were improved to specify the type of protection that is required for gloves for
each task along with training and a check-card that were issued to all employees detailing the meaning
of these ratings. Always check the JSA to ensure you have the correct gloves specified for the task, and
make sure you are wearing them.

Remember to protect your hands and keep our sites safe by remembering and applying the acronym
Avoid Bloodshed: Think Protection.

If you require additional copies of the glove check-card, please inform your line manager.

We are all a product of learning. Every skill we have; everything we know; everything we believe and everything
we do has been learned throughout the course of our lives. Some of us learn best by studying graphs and
charts, some through visual presentations, and some by reading detailed text books. It is important that we
receive information in a format that works for us as individuals! That’s why at Xmo Strata we use a variety of
communication platforms such as bulletins, newsletters, videos etc. However, if you feel there is a better way for
us to share health and safety information, please let us know. Ultimately, your safety is in your hands – but we
will do all we can to keep you well informed!
