Installation of gland:
The installation method varies depending upon the gland manufacturer, however most gland follow a
similar design. The steel armour is cut and sprayed out to the outer section of the gland body, ensure
none the armour has been left inside the gland and that the strands are evenly spaced without crossing.
Some glands have a separate gripping ring that should be pushed into position to hold the strands in
place.
