                                     Mental Health - Employee Support

It is now 6 months since we joined to support the Mates in Mind charity that supports mental health
initiatives in the construction industry, where more people die from suicide than from falls from height
and 5 years since we signed up to an Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) where any Xmo Strata employee
can call a confidential helpline to discuss personal or work related issues.

Most of us know people who suffer from anxiety, stress or depression and talking about it with
someone, either openly or in the strictest of confidence often helps.

We want our workforce to be physically and mentally fit, hence implementing annual health
questionnaires many years ago, full medicals for site teams, annual assessments by our occupational
health partners, allied ‘fit to work notes’ for all employees and incentives including free Fitbits to
           encourage physical exercise.

To follow up on recent discussions and communications, we want to make it as easy as possible for all
employees to start the discussion. As well as the EAP support line, there is also a dedicated text line for
people who would rather text than talk, supported by The Samaritans; if you text them, they will
communicate back in the same format.

To keep the numbers easily accessible, we have added a “Need Personal Support” button on the
XmoHub home page that is accessible from all devices. This button will bring up a window with contact
information; if you access this from your phone, there is a direct dial button to the EAP helpline.
