Health, Safety & Environmental Bulletin No 434

                                                  30 October 2014

                                                Mitigated Hazards

With the growing no-win-no-fee culture that our clients are subject to, we are committed to
mitigating the risk to them whenever it is possible.

To achieve this we have a clear brief to our employees – “if you see something that is a
potential hazard, then fix it. If you are unable to eliminate the hazard, report it to us so we can
advise the client and they can address it.”

We are pleased that we eliminated 785 hazards on site at source (so far), and a further 62 were
eliminated by ourselves shortly after being identified.

This year is our best so far with 44% of all identified hazards eliminated immediately upon
           discovery.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our employees for their commitment to
making the sites we work on safer for site patrons and for reducing the chances of our
           customers being sued.

We are all a product of learning. Every skill we have; everything we know; everything we believe and everything we do has
been learned throughout the course of our lives. Some of us learn best by studying graphs and charts, some through visual
presentations, and some by reading detailed text books. It is important that we receive information in a format that works
for us as individuals! That’s why at Xmo Strata we use a variety of communication platforms such as bulletins, newsletters,
videos etc. However, if you feel there is a better way for us to share health and safety information, please let us know.
Ultimately, your safety is in your hands – but we will do all we can to keep you well informed!
