Xmo Strata requires sign maintenance, installation and sign servicing engineers to have specific qualifications before starting work. If these aren’t held upon an offer of employment, the company will invest in sending you on external training courses to bring your qualifications in line with the rest of the team.
The required qualifications are PASMAPASMA - Prefabricated Access Suppliers' & Manufacturers' Association. (For mobile scaffold users), IPAFThe International Powered Access Federation., CSCSCSCS - Constructions Skills Certification Scheme., Forecourt Contractor Safety Passport scheme and safety harness certification.
All training days are fully covered by the company; time away from work to complete any courses is done on full pay, and this does not affect holiday entitlement.
“I have been an engineer in the sign industry for more than 16 years, and in that time have worked for 3 different companies.I have never had as much safety awareness training and coaching as I have since joining Xmo Strata. My son has now joined as a sign engineerCrew trained, experienced and equipped to install and maintain signage., so for me safety is more important than ever, and I’m trusting Xmo Strata to continue with its high standards.”
