A day in the life of me:
My job can vary from auditing field based teams on-site ensuring their safe practice; meeting with customers suppliers and colleagues to discuss issues such as upcoming workload, recruitment and logistics, problem solving and operational spend. I also work out productivity and budgets, and investigate new safety equipment and initiatives.
Before starting at Xmo Strata:
I studied Design Management at University, which equipped me with a lot of the tools I now use such as research and development, project management and team building.
The thing I most enjoy about my job:
I enjoy the challenge of learning new things. I find it rewarding to be able to say that I work with a Company that leads the industry in safe and good practice, and personally, to know that I have helped achieve that.
Training courses completed while at Xmo Strata:
IOSH Managing Safely, UKPIA (SPA), UKPIA refresher, IIF, IIF Train The Trainer. I am also booked to sit a NEBOSH General certificate.
Why I wanted to work for Xmo Strata:
I wanted to gain experience in a company that could allow me space to grow, and would pull as much as push.
