Customer Safety Ratings
10th July 2008
As you are all aware, our XmoMan safety management database maintains all training records, near misses and incidents (including details of basic causes, underlying causes, job factors and personal factors) and its trend analysis function is now used to generate toolbox talk and safety bulletin topics.
As well as factual data relating to our performance, we incorporated a customer feedback section on our engineers' service orders in September 2007, which gives our customers (on site) an opportunity to comment on our performance and rate us in terms of safety (as well as on quality and courtesy). Clearly, this is only a guide as to how we present safety on site, but is a useful tool based on the old maxim that “if something looks unsafe, then it probably is”. So far, the statistics are very encouraging and endorse the good progress that we are making towards achieving a genuine Incident & Incident Free working environment. Any adverse comments or low ratings will be followed up to establish how we can do things better and learn from the feedback.
Customer ratings to date are as follows:-

I am pleased to confirm that the XmoMan sort facility enables us to analyse results by project, by customer and by engineer, so the results will be a specific part of each individual's annual performance appraisal or annual subcontractor accreditation.
I hope to share ALL results and trends at the Xmo Strata Safety Awareness day on 12th December 2008.
Please continue to promote safety at all times and remember that whilst on-site, you are representing both your company and our customer.
