The Global Alliance has recently issued revised guidance to BP sites on signing in procedures.

The guidance highlights what the store manager should be looking for from any contractors that want to work on their site. The main areas addressed are:

None of the above is new, and should be standard practice on all filling stations.

A copy of the note from BP and the latest version of the visitor’s book is accessible via the link below. The visitor’s book now has columns for the site to indicate that they have checked your safety passport and agreed the clearance certificate. It also requires the site to sign you out by entering the time you leave site, please ensure this is completed.
