Case Study – Canopy Roof Replacement
We carry out maintenance on many petrol filling station canopies in the UK, including accident damage and replacement of gutters, top sheets and undersheets as required.
Two two-man Xmo Strata canopy structural teams carrying out critical work at the Cherwell Valley MOTO service station kept the job on schedule despite the snow of early March.
Gilbarco crews had been called out to repair two pumps due to electrical faults but reported that canopy leaks above several of the pumps may lead to further problems and the client responded very quickly and professionally and called the Xmo team to attend.
Our site survey found that the 987 square metre canopy would require 250 roof sheets, 222 foam fillers and 100 metres of ridge caps.
Despite delays caused by the snow the determined crews finished the job on schedule – and safely.
